Ok let's see - we have an image hosted on a profile that is 1 day old and asks you to visit a website with a strange url with a promise of a financial reward on an another website. How do you even imagine  that would work? And now, of course, people start crying that their computers got infected with malware. Which is great - every genius who fell for this obvious phishing scam  deserved it. I hope your shitty computer burns and you along with it.

Opinions are a Dangerous thing: Art StylesThis isn't about narking on anyone no, infact this is just my own muses really! You could say this is a journal for ENCOURAGEMENT! *SHINES*
I find sticking to one style restrictive if you are a beginning/moderate artist! (even professionals I might say! though I can't speak for everyone)
Having a distinctive look on how your art is done and produced is understandable and its a desire to appear unique to the point some one can just SEE your work and instantly think 'Oh! that's Ten-days!' or something along the line. However, when you are trying to find who you are and what kind of art you are to produce, I recommend trying, well, a lot of different things! Different styles, mixing styles, different colouring techinque, brushes, tools, shading. Don't feel dependant on what you are already doing and don't feel pressured by people just for trying new things!
Push out of your comfort zone. Can't draw hands? don't avoid it! draw the heck out of them! (how else are you going to learn?)

It's really choppy and suuuuuper scribbly because I took like 30 seconds to draw each frame. Please fill in the gaps and gloss over the art with your wonderful imagination! I made it in Windows Movie Maker which is an absolutely evil program =o=

So, here's what's up...

It's been a long time since I've been able to write regularly. I've managed little snippets here and there, but nothing really relevant. For a while now, I've pretty much been using deviantART for art appreciation rather than submitting anything cause I just haven't had the inspiration to write anything. Until recently...

That said, I've decided to scrap my V:tM story. I'm not going to completely abandon it though. Instead, I'm going to TRY to write a new story taking inspiration from the overall plot of my old story and creating a new, more original setting. All in all, I want to make something new rather than write what would be considered a fanfic regardless of how original the story was. Perhaps if it's decent, I may even see about publishing it.

I've been playing and running a lot of Pathfinder lately, and I've come to realize that I actually can build a complex and original world. So my new story will probably be a dark ages/medieval fantasy.

I'm not going to claim that I'll be able to submit anything regularly. I am, after all, a mom and a soldier, so much of my time is taken up by my daughter and my work. But for now, I'm going to sit down and work on an outline and see what I can do to convert the main story points over to an entirely different setting. We'll see what happens from there :)

That is awesome news! Congratulations :) I am working on an original story too with my friend :icontasharene: and we're having a blast coming up with our own world. I hope yours goes as well and you have just as much fun as we are. You'll have to let me know when it 's done so I can buy a copy! :hug:
